Balloons and Bubbles
How’s your quarantine going? I have been watching a lot of movies, working from home, taking walks outside and just chilling at home. I have limited my contacts to only few people. So far, it has been relaxing and I think I needed the rest.
Last Friday we celebrated Vappu, First of May, and couple weeks ago it was Easter time. Celebrating these holidays makes life feel normal again. On Easter I went to Lammassaari to watch the sunrise and took a walk on the island. I am more of a night owl than an early bird, so waking up around 5 am is not normal for me, yet it was worth waking up for. Watching more sunrises is on my list from now on.
During the first of May we made doughnuts and I decorated my apartment with balloons and serpentine. Soap bubbles, balloons and sweets made me really happy. I also filmed a short video of the celebration. You can find it here.
I’ve been enjoying going for long walks and cycling to new places. Learning and trying new things even at home help to keep me sane. My goal for this year was to learn the Rubik’s cube, so I learned how to solve it. And at the moment I am learning all different kinds of cubes as well. Creative projects apart from work keep me going. I edited a video of the USA road trip and we created a thing about Freedom to Dance. I enjoy doing projects like these and am happy to have more time for creating.
What helps you to cope with this situation? Message me and let’s discuss.
That’s all for now. Enjoy your week ❤️
